Apart from this, it’s important to be consistent in your efforts when dealing with email marketing. Be sure to send your emails consistently at the time stated to your recipients. If for example, you choose to send out your newsletter each week on Tuesdays at 2 pm, be sure to continue that schedule. Your supporters will be waiting and expecting your email then and you do not want to keep them waiting. Doing so will show them that you are serious and will be more likely to open any promotional emails you send to them. It also shows respect for your audience and professional on your part when you are consistent with your mailings.
However, there is more to consistency than simply sending an email out at the same time every week. Mondays aren’t as effective because people are winding down from the weekend. On Thursday and Friday, people are already looking forward to the weekend. It’s also important to remember to personalize your emails during your email marketing campaign. Inserting your subscriber’s name can boost your click-through rates and increase your readership. This just strengthens your relationship with the subscribers and brings in long term benefits. If you use your email marketing campaign correctly and consistently, it will be a very effective marketing tool for your business.
