It is true you are your own proprietor, but if you work from 9 to five one day and then do not get up until 12 pm the next day folks will not take you seriously.

When you’re setting up your home based business the very first thing that you must do is to choose a schedule and stick to it. This way your customers know when they can reach you. This is good for business and will help in keeping your clients coming back. If you can outshine rivals when it comes to consumer service and support you’ll probably get an amazing reputation and develop a word-of-mouth following.

When you sit down to plan out your business hours work out a starting time and a closing time and allow for time for lunch too.

If you were working in an office environment you would take a lunch break, so set a satisfactory amount of time to be at lunch and stick to it.

You do not have a time clock that you have to go by but you will have clients who are counting on you to be available during the hours that you set.
